Ashiq Usman's announcement of his next production has sparked excitement among Premalu fans. It has been confirmed that this film, which is expected to be a romantic comedy drama, will star Sangeeth Prathap and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles.
Though the makers have not revealed the title, it is now being touted as Ashiq Usman's Production No 20. They have shared a first look poster along with the tagline 'Love was never on the menu...until they accidently ordered each other'. The crew of the film includes Akhil George, Nimish M Thanoor and Ronex Xavier. Chaman Chacko is helming the edit works, while the soundtracks and background score for this project is being composed by Govind Vasantha. Given Mamitha and Sangeeth's performances in their previous film, Premalu, there are great expectations for this one. Rest of the cast details as well as a theatrical release update are anticipated in the coming days.

Mamitha bagged a number of projects in Tamil with Jana Nayagan and Suriya 46 being the highly anticipated ones among others. The actress rose to fame with her performance as Reenu in Girish AD's directorial Premalu last year. The film, which is available on JioHotstar and AhaTelugu, was a surprise hit in box office. For more than 50 days, it was a box office triumph, earning over Rs 100 crore globally. After receiving great reviews, the romantic comedy drama's sequel was revealed. But according to recent sources, the sequel's plans have been shelved or delayed for unspecified reasons.
Sangeeth, meanwhile, became well-known for playing Amal Davis in the movie. As a result, the young actor was given numerous supporting roles in Malayalam, including in Thudarum, the most recent Tharun Moorthy movie. He additionally oversaw the editing for Sarkeet, starring Asif Ali. One of his next films is Hridayapoorvam, which stars Mohanlal in the lead role, which will be released in theatres in Onam this year.
