Mammootty’s role in Jayaram and Midhun Manuel Thomas’s Abraham Ozler – All you need to know

Abraham Ozler, the highly anticipated project that stars Jayaram in the lead role, is gearing up for its theatrical release on January 11, 2024. The makers of the Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial announced the release date of the crime thriller, along with a new poster, recently. Now, reports on megastar Mammootty’s special appearance in the Jayaram starrer are doing the rounds on social media.

Mammootty to play prominent role in Abraham Ozler

As per the latest reports, the veteran actor is not just making a cameo appearance in Abraham Ozler but is also playing an important role. If the latest updates are to be believed, Mammootty’s character in the Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial will have a screentime of over 45 minutes and appears in the most crucial moments in the narrative. Some unconfirmed reports also suggest that the megastar is playing in a full-fledged negative role in the movie. However, the makers of Abraham Ozler have not reacted to these reports yet.

Jayaram as Abraham Ozler IPS

The popular actor is set to make a strong comeback to the Malayalam film industry with Abraham Ozler after a prolonged low phase. Jayaram is said to be playing the titular character, Abraham Ozler IPS, a senior police officer in the project, which is touted to be a medical thriller. The grapevine also suggests that the multi-faceted talent has shed all his much-loved onscreen mannerisms for the film and is appearing in a never-seen-before avatar.

The cast and crew

Along with Jayaram and Mammootty, the Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial features a stellar star cast including Jagadeesh, Sai Kumar, Anoop Menon, Saiju Kurup, Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, Senthil Krishna, Arjun Nandakumar, Aneesh Gopal, Sreeram Ramachandran, and others in the supporting roles.

The medical thriller is penned by Randheer Krishnan. Theni Eshwar is the director of photography. Midhun Mukundan composes the music score. Shameer Muhammed has handled the editing. Abraham Ozler is produced by director Midhun Manuel Thomas himself, along with Irshad M Hassan, under the banners Manuel Movie Makers and Nerambokku.
