Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has emerged as a blockbuster hit at the box office. Chiranjeevi has once again proved what a big star he is, as the film has grossed the Rs 370 crore mark, as per the trading portal Sacnilk.
We at OTTplay were the first to reveal that ZEE5 has bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price and will stream it in the second week of February 2026.

Earlier, we had also reported that the OTT release might be delayed, but as per the latest update, nothing of that sort has happened. MSG will be available for streaming on ZEE5 from February 11, 2026. Once the film lands on OTT, it can also be streamed on OTTplay Premium.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi of Sankranthiki Vastunnam fame, MSG is a family drama featuring Nayanthara as the female lead. The big-budget comedy caper hit the screens on January 12, 2026, as a Sankranthi special.
Makers of MSG sign a special OTT deal with Zee 5
Considering the release date, the film is arriving on OTT within a month of its theatrical release. This is because of the deal the makers signed with ZEE5. As per the agreement, if the film releases on OTT within one month of its theatrical run, irrespective of the box-office outcome, the makers would receive a solid amount.
It looks like the producers have chosen the OTT deal over extending the theatrical run, even though Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu is still enjoying more than 50 percent occupancy in theatres.
The OTT release is expected to slow down theatrical collections. With a free run at the box office, the Chiranjeevi starrer could have added more numbers. However, with the weekend approaching and no big films competing, the movie is still expected to earn well in the next few days.

Music for the film has been composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, and the hit songs, along with Venkatesh’s presence and the crackling chemistry between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, have worked big time. MSG is a clean family entertainer, and Chiranjeevi is back with a bang. He is now busy with his next film, which will be directed by Bobby Kolli.
