Manchu Manoj signs another film after What The Fish, promises to reinvent himself in a new avatar

Manchu Manoj has always been a talent to watch out for in Telugu cinema. There was terrific versatility with his script selection in his early years - films as diverse as Vedam, Prayanam, Mr Nookayya, Nenu Meeku Telusa validate the same. He was last seen in a full-fledged appearance in the 2017 release Okkadu Migiladu, directed by Ajay Andrews Nuthakki.

The actor was on a self-imposed sabbatical from the industry owing to a few professional and personal setbacks. While he was in the news for tying the knot with Bhuma Mounika Reddy recently, Manoj is donning the greasepaint again and has already signed a few projects. What The Fish, to be directed by Varun Korukunda, will be the first among them to go on floors.

Meanwhile, he has given his nod to another script. Bhaskar Bantupalli, known for films like Telugu Abbayi Gujarat Ammayi, June 1:43, is the writer and director of this project. M Srinivasulu, D Venugopal, M Mamatha, and Mulapudi Rajeshwari are jointly producing the film under LS Production while Mamata will be presenting the film ( tentatively titled ‘LS Productions No 3’).

The untitled project will be made on a huge budget and Manchu Manoj assures that every project that he signs will portray a newer dimension to him as a performer. He wants to take up scripts that’ll offer a unique experience to audiences, sources close to him suggest. Other details of the cast, crew will be announced shortly.

The other projects of the Hyderabad-based production house LS Productions include Master Mahendran starrer Nilakanta, written and directed by Rakesh Madhavan (to release in all South Indian languages and Hindi) besides a web series titled Underworld Billionaires starring Arvind Krishna, Radhika Preethi and others.
