Mandya village fans celebrate Sunny Leone's with a blood donation drive, actor promises to reciprocate the gesture

A super special gesture by the fans of Sunny Leone has left the actress in complete awe. On May 13th, to mark Sunny Leone's birthday, fans from a village in the Mandya district organized a blood donation drive as their grand tribute to the popular star. Taking to social media, Sunny shared the cutout of the newspaper article that carried the special news and thanked all her fans for displaying their love with an amazing and noble gesture.

Fans from Kommerahalli village in Mandya also erected huge cutouts of Leone, cut a cake in her name, burst crackers, and distributed food among locals on May 13th. They had formed an association in her name so as to organize a special blood donation drive and manage to collect as many as 19 units of blood, thereby replicating the same social work that Sunny Leone is known for. As reported by the Times of India, members of the association revealed that they took Sunny Leone's charity work as a source of inspiration and intend on continuing their share for many years. This is the second birthday of Sunny Leone that the fan association celebrated, the article goes on to reveal.

Impressed and overwhelmed by the grand gesture, Sunny Leone later tweeted saying that in the honor of her fans, she will sign up soon to donate her blood. "Thank you so much! You all make me feel so special! Love You!" she wrote in the tweet.

Fans across Karnataka are known to go to similar lengths for their favorite male superstars but, quite indeed, the recent deed for Sunny Leone will certainly go down as one of the best and most flamboyant. Despite the fact that Sunny Leone hasn't featured much in Kannada cinema, it is evident that she has amassed several fans in the region - her two appearances so far have come through item numbers in the films 'DK' and 'Luv U Alia'.

Sunny Leone also made the news earlier today in relation to Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds' death. Both Symonds and Sunny were part of the Big Boss household a few years ago and are known to have forged a friendship during the course of the show.
