After a blockbuster run in the theatres and garnering critical acclaim, Mangalavaaram is gearing up for its digital premiere. Noted platform Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the post-theatrical digital rights of the thriller and is set to stream the movie shortly. The film is expected to arrive on Disney+ Hotstar around December 15 or later, almost a month after its theatrical release.

The story unfolds in a village where there are mysterious killings week after week on Tuesdays, with an unknown person writing about the victims on the walls. A police officer is out to decode the killer and his motive. What connects Payal Rajput and the deaths? What are the other secrets that the residents are hiding? One needs to watch the film to know more.

Ajay Gosh, Shravan Reddy, Srithej, Laxman Meesala and Priyadarshi are also part of the cast. Sivendra Dasaradhi cranked the camera for the film while Ajaneesh B Lokanath is the composer. Madhav Kumar Gullapalli is the editor, with Tajuddin Syed, Kalyan Raghav writing the dialogues. Raghu Kulakarni, Mohan Talluri are the production designer and the art director respectively.

“Mangalavaaram has a unique backdrop and is narrated well for the most part. Payal Rajput gives her career-best performance and will surely shock you with her bold character. Barring the slow first half, the twists and turns are good and the amazing background score keeps you engaged in this dark thriller,” OTTplay.com's critic wrote in his review.
