The last 10 episodes in the 20-episode fourth and final season of Manifest, which was revived by Netflix, dropped on the streamer on June 2 and dedicated fans have been literally burning the midnight oil to binge on all and find answers to a lot of burning questions.

Season 4 was Jeff’s condensed version of three seasons worth of story-telling, so there have been elements that had to be cut short or thrown out altogether for the sake of brevity. And while most of the passengers of Flight 828 got another stab at their lives with them landing back in 2013 on the day they were supposed to, there was no definitive answer to what really happened to them. Did they time travel? Were they abducted by aliens? Were they in a multiverse? If the passengers of Flight 828 just got a reset, why not the 11 passengers who perished during the hour of judgement? What about Captain Daly?

While these will probably remain unanswered, Jeff, who has been quite active on social media, answering fan queries, etc., teased the possibility of a series spin-off. In what is being called fan service, Manifest ended with Michaela rejecting Jared’s proposal and heading out to find Zeke, giving #Zekaela closure. Fans have been speculating several spin-off possibilities, with Zeke and Michaela topping the list, followed by Jared and Drea or just a cop drama with Jared, and yet another NSA investigation into the missing 11 passengers, bringing Vance and Ben Stone together again. There is one section of fans that also wants a Jared and Michaela spin-off. Most importantly, though, fans of the show would like to see how the passengers navigate through their lives with the knowledge of the ‘other life’ they had.

Responding to several fans who have been asking if there is a possibility of a Manifest spin-off, Jeff wrote, “Would love to write/produce a spinoff. Hope we can make it happen.” With Manifest expected to be one of the top streamed shows on Netflix, fans are hopeful that the streamer may be jolted into giving Jeff that opportunity.
