Good Night-fame Manikandan, whose upcoming romantic drama Lover is gearing up for its release, has dropped a new single from the film. Titled ‘Apple crumble’, the vocals for the film have been rendered by none other than Chithha fame Tamil actor Siddharth.
The song, a romantic track, is a beautiful composition by Sean Roldan. Siddharth in his soulful vocals has captured the enchanting melody with the guitar strings played by Sean himself. The video features Manikandan’s character making an apple crumble or pie for his onscreen girlfriend Sri Gouri Priya and it is indeed a soul-stirring rendition.
Directed by Prabhuram Vyas of the Livin web series fame, the upcoming film follows a couple (played by Manikandan and Sri Gouri) caught in a toxic relationship. He revealed that Lover will delve into what goes into making a relationship work and portray the dynamics in a relationship between a couple. He also hinted that the film will be a little more serious with drama rather than a plain romantic film.
