As per a Filmfare report, Manisha Koirala and Huma Qureshi are likely to be starred in a slick thriller film, scheduled to be produced by Anubhav Sinha. It will be helmed by a newcomer, though the director's name has been withheld. Official confirmation is awaited, but it will be interesting to see Manisha and Huma come together for a thrilling story.

Manisha was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The series also casts Richa Chadha, Sonakshi Sinha, Fardeen Khan, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Pratibha Ranta. The eight-episodic series revolves around the lives of tawaifs or courtesans in the red-light district of Lahore during India's freedom movement.
Speaking to India Today during International Film Festival of India, Manisha Koirala shared an update about Heeramandi 2. The actress said, "The shoot will begin next year. We are all waiting to be back." However, she did not reveal any further details.
On the other hand, Huma was last seen in ZEE5's Mithya 2: The Darkar Chapter. The series received mixed reviews. Meanwhile, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress made an announcement for Maharani 4.
She shared, “I can clearly define my career pre and post-Maharani. That was the show where people really stood up and took notice of my potential. Its success made people imagine me in roles that they couldn’t before. And now, Maharani is going to have a season 4."
