Manisha Rani reveals Akshay Kumar was the reason for her unfollowing Elvish Yadav on Instagram, find out how

Manisha Rani has spoken up about unfollowing Elvish Yadav on Instagram. When she did it, the netizens were left confused. Manisha, who would always root for Elvish on Bigg Boss OTT 2 and even outside of the house, suddenly showed signs of differences with the fellow YouTuber. After promising her fans, Manisha has finally opened up on why she unfollowed Elvish after all, and the reason is Akshay Kumar.

How is Akshay Kumar the reason?

Elvish and Manisha had collaborated on a project. The same appeared on both their Instagram pages. Unfortunately though, Elvish kept a photo of him with Akshay Kumar as the cover picture in the video. This obviously did not go down well with Manisha. She cited the example of collaborating with Abhishek Malhan and how she would not add Shahid Kapoor’s photo as the cover photo. “Aap jiske saath collab kiya uska photo daaliyega na? (sic),” she said.

What did she do about it?

Manisha approached Elvish’s team, who kept delaying the matter. They told Manisha that they would take matter in their own hands. She kept following up from evening to 1 am (when promised at 11.30 pm). It was at 1 am when Elvish came on call with Manisha and said that the cover photo cannot be changed. This did not go down well with Manisha, who said that a cover photo can be changed 100 times but Elvish just didn’t want to. In fact, Manisha claims that Elvish said that if Manisha wants to collaborate with him, then she should post a photo with her family as the cover photo. It was the way he spoke in the matter (of how it cannot be changed because his shoulder would make it to the cover photo), that Manisha did not appreciate. She couldn’t understand how Elvish calls Manisha his friend and felt that it was disrespectful to #ElviSha fans. Manisha says that she waited till the next night for Elvish to understand the matter by himself and when he did not, she decided to unfollow him.

Manisha’s announcement

Manisha took her fans by surprise by announcing that she would reveal the reason to unfollow Elvish. “Unfollow ka reason Jan na tha na? Kal 12 baje vlog aa raha hai mere channel pe. Sirf sach bolungi #staytuned,” she had informed her fans. Manisha posed a victory sign photo with the same and the link to the video.
