The makers of Manjummel Boys, which has earned over Rs 200 crore at the box office, has suffered a major setback after a court in Kerala has ordered to freeze the bank accounts of its producers, following a petition by Aroor resident on Saturday.
Siraj Valiyathara, the petitioner, approached the court, claiming that Parava Films, Manjummel Boys' producers, and partner Shawn Antony had promised him a forty percent share of the profits following the film's release. An additional sub-judge then issued the order. Siraj, a native of Aroor, allegedly contributed Rs 7 crore to the project.
