Manush: Jeet comes back as an angry young man

On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Jeet and his team unveil the first look of his upcoming film, Manush – Child of Destiny. Jeet, known for his charismatic screen presence, has been a soldier of Bengali commercial cinema for years. With Manush, he promises to deliver yet another drama-packed cinematic experience to his fans. Produced by his house, the film will be released on November 24 in theatres. The film is directed by Sanjoy Somadder and also features Susmita Chatterjee. 

Manush is billed to be an intense action yet an emotional drama. In the poster, Jeet – the leading man – is seen in a violent yet cold avatar. He has a beard, a rugged look, and eyes filled with emotions.

Earlier, in an interview with OTTplay, Jeet said that he believes in the success of commercial cinema and he sees that as one of the backbones of any industry. “Mainstream commercial films are the drivers of the film industry across languages. That is the first thing I believe in. and then when I look back on my filmography, I see I am what I am today because of the films that I have done. And I have mostly done mainstream films. When we open our eyes we see mainstream films have a wider reach. If I know a certain genre has the potential to take me to a wider audience why wouldn’t I do it? Moreover, I personally enjoy this space,” he told us.
