Bollywood actress Manushi Chhillar played a pivotal role in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film, featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, failed to work wonders at the box office. After 10 days of its theatrical run, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan earned only Rs 55 crore at the ticket window. Now, in an interview with Zoom, Manushi reacted to the fate of her film BMCM's box office.

The actress used to think that if she was focused and dedicated towards her work, then she would get something out of it. Manushi added that actors want their films to work well, people to watch them, and their films and feel entertained. However, the BMCM actress further stated that sometimes such things don't happen and she has made peace with it.

"Box office numbers are something that, as an actor, you don't have any control over so whatever I don't have control of, I don't think much of it," said Manushi.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's box office clash, OTT partner and more

For the uninitiated, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan clashed with Ajay Devgn's Maidaan at the box office. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial and Amit Sharma's film was released on Eid 2024. Once BMCM's theatrical run ends, the film will drop on Netflix. It is currently running in cinemas. Apart from Akshay, Tiger and Manushi, the film's star cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha and Ronit Roy.

Before BMCM hit the silver screen, Manushi was seen in Operation Valentine. The actress shared screen space with Varun Tej in the movie. That said, how did you find her recent release Bade Miyan Chote Miyan? Tweet @ottplayapp and share your thoughts.
