Nine days ahead of one of the biggest releases, Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham, Keerthy Suresh dropped an exciting motion poster of hers, adding more sparks to the excitement of the fans.

The period drama war film, helmed by Priyadarshan, features Keerthy as Aarcha, the most prominent war figure of the ancient Kerala. She could be seen dressed up as the queen, who is beautiful, royal and fierce. She will be seen playing a vital role alongside Mohanlal’s Kunjali Marakkar, the naval chief who is known for his contribution in the wars against the Portuguese during the 1600s.

The clip she shared on her social media has gone viral within hours, with a record number of likes. “Nine more days to witness the magic of #Marakkar! Are you ready?,” reads her caption. Fans are seen pouring love, wishes, and excitement as they wait to experience a massive war action experience on the big screen, after nearly two years.

The movie certainly is the most-expected big release, which will finally hit theatres soon, after swapping between the OTT and big screen many times. It has been making many headlines recently, due to confusions and lengthy discussions between the theatre owners and producer Antony Perumbavoor, regarding the movie’s release.

Meanwhile, the team had recently revealed another poster of Keerthy’s character, in which she was seen playing Veena. Her character’s romantic interest towards the protagonist is expected to be vital in the film.

Besides Keerthy and Mohanlal, the movie has a stellar cast on board including Manju Warrier, Sunil Shetty, Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Arjun Sarja, Suhasini Maniratnam and Prabhu.

Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham will hit theatres on December 2, 2021.
