The character poster of SJ Suryah from Mark Antony was released today. The actor, who is said to be playing a character with shades of grey, is seen sporting a retro gangsta look in the character poster and holding a gun and blazing away. His character is called Jackie Pandian. The film's director Adhik Ravichandran took to his social media handle to share SJ Suryah's look from the film. He wrote, "Presenting you the first look of @iam_SJSuryah sir in #MarkAntony JACKIE PANIDAN Whata an experience each day on sets with u sir complete Madness & Craziness @VishalKOfficial @vinod_offl @riturv @gvprakash @AbinandhanR @editorvijay @RVijaimurugan @dhilipaction @NjSatz (sic)."


Earlier in the day, SJ Suryah had thanked Vishal and the team of Mark Antony. He had written, "Yah 3.50pm & thx to my beloved brother Puratchi Thazhapathy @VishalKOfficial , power house @Adhikravi, honest young Producer Vinod @ministudiosllp and Team see U soon friends (sic)." The film has Ritu Kumar playing the leading lady. 


Music is by GV Prakash Kumar. While the cinematography is by Abhinandan Ramanujam, the editing is handled by Vijay Velukutty. The shoot for the film resumed recently after it was put on hold as Vishal suffered multiple injuries on the set of his other film, Laththi. Vishal's first-look poster from Mark Antony, top had the actor sporting a unique look with ruffled hair, with vibhuti (sacred ash) smeared on his forehead and he holding a gun.
Going by the character posters, the film is likely to be loaded with action. This is Adhik Ravichandran's maiden collaboration with Vishal. Adhik had earlier helmed the films Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Bagheera and Anbanavan Adangathavan Asarathavan. The title Mark Antony is inspired by Raghuvaran's character in Superstar Rajinikanth's Baashha. Mark Antony has been touted as a pan-Indian project, which will hit screens in five languages, namely Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
