Kiccha Sudeep naysayers are having quite the field day, what with the first single from the actor’s next film Mark, Psycho Shaitan, running into trouble. The Kannada version of the song, which was widely criticised for its below average lyrics by filmmaker Anup Bhandari, was taken down, which the makers attribute to a technical glitch, promising that it would be reuploaded shortly.

However, netizens claim that the video got taken down by the platform following unusual activity in terms of the views and likes. This, in turn, led to intense trolling by other fan sections, while the actor’s followers urged his team to let the song grow organically when it is released again. Some even said that the team ought to revisit the Kannada version and, maybe even do an entirely new one, given that the lyrics were not up to the mark.
“Let’s go organic, don’t manipulate likes and views against YouTube guidelines,” wrote a user in response to the official tweet by the banner about the song going missing from the platform. Another added, “Full song ne re recording madi, first lyrics change madi re shoot madi film release time ge matte bidi eg yen urgent illa ee tara ajjeb madbedi.”
Sudeep fans wasted no time blaming the production house for bringing shame to Kannada cinema and urged them not to mess with their emotions. Incidentally, there were a lot of issues even with the actor’s last release Max, with the banner’s lack of interest in doing promotional activities cited as a major issue. Back then, promotional material would land on social media without any announcement and no effort to drum up excitement. A teaser was even leaked online before the official release. Looks like it’s not got any better with a different banner.
