Marvel 101: Eternals latest promo reveals the real identity of the ancient, immortal beings

The Marvel Entertainments have dropped another intriguing video ahead of Eternals release. The latest clip titled Marvel 101, describes the power that the Eternals possess. The official MCU video also reveals that how it all started. Apart from the main cast, it also features the antagonist characters of the highly anticipated film.

The latest promo video begins with describing who the Eternals are and what they do. The information featured on the clip reads, “The Eternals are a group of ancient, immortal beings working on behalf of the architects of existence itself, The Celestials.”

Another line featuring the Eternals says, “The Eternals, let by Ajak, are comprised of Ikaris, Sersi, Thena, Gilgamesh, Kingo, Sprite, Druig, Makkari and Phastos.”

Moving ahead, a sentence reveals the responsibilities of these immortal beings and says that the celestial sent the Eternals to earth centuries ago to protect humankind from a race of predators called the Deviants.

It’s known that each Eternals has a unique ability, all derived from the same cosmic power source.

While the video also mentions that the Eternals can harness their cosmic power together to create a uni- mind, which amplifies their power. An image emerges in the video that shows Sersi, Druig and Makkari channelling their power together.

Marvel Entertainments shared the latest clip through its Instagram handle and captioned, “Sent to Earth to protect humankind, the ancient and super-powered #Eternals must reunite for one more mission. #Marvel101

Experience Marvel Studios' @Eternals in theaters on November 5th! (sic).”

In the end, the video mentions that the Eternals, who were living in shadows were forced out of their secret to fight their oldest enemy after hundreds of years to protect the humans. 

Eternals, which has been directed by the Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao, is set to release in theatres on November 5.
