The Marvel Cinematic Universe has earned itself the title of one of the most vast and intricate cinematic universes in existence on the silver screen today. Starting with the surprising rise of Tony Stark’s Iron Man in 2008, the studios has never looked back, and have spun highly popular and successful franchises around Marvel Comics heroes and anti-heroes like Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Loki, Moon Knight, Hawkeye and more.
After the success of its films, the studios even decided to venture into the world of television shows, with both limited shows and recurring series that have caught the fancy of fans globally. In the vast entirety of the cinematic universe, which is divided into different phases, even die hard fans might find it difficult to keep track of everything that is going on. Marvel Studios: Legends seems to be the perfect solution to that.
What is Marvel Studios: Legends about?
Marvel Studios: Legends is a series where each episode focuses on different characters, character arcs, or even objects that appear in the MCU. The episodes consist entirely of either archival footage or footage of the subjects from their past works in the MCU. New episodes usually precede a series or film that focuses on the subject that the episodes are about.
For instance, before the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, some episodes in season 1 of the show were centered around the characters of King T'Challa and Princess Shuri.
The next MCU film scheduled for release, on February 17, is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. So the first few episodes of the latest season of the show will focus on Ant-Man, Wasp, and Hank and Janet.
When and where to watch Marvel Studios: Legends Season 2?
Marvel Studios: Legends Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on February 10.
