Marvel Studio’s WandaVision: Kathryn Hahn to get her own series as a spinoff to its predecessor

Marvel Studios recently released Wanda Maximoff's story on the digital screens with her own spinoff series, WandaVision. This time we will be seeing the infamous powerful witch, Agatha Harkness (portrayed by Kathryn Hahn). She returns to her own series developed by Disney Plus from Marvel Studios.

According to a Variety report, the upcoming spinoff of Agatha Harkness is touted to be a dark-comedy caper. Additional details on the series are currently kept under wraps and will be divulged soon. WandaVision’s head writer Jac Schaeffer is returning to pen the storyline of the spinoff. He will also serve as its executive producer.

Currently Kathryn Hahn and the writer are silent about the upcoming project. However, they are also tight-lipped about all the other Marvel projects that are in development.

Elizabeth Olson reprised her Marvel character in the Disney+Hotstar web series WandaVision. Kathryn Hahn in the role of Agatha Harkness came out to be a nosy neighbour of Elizabeth. It is later revealed that Agatha is actually a powerful witch. According to the storyline given in Marvel comics and the series, she was known to have survived the Salem Witch Trials and is construed to be as powerful as Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch.

Talking about Kathryn Hahn’s upcoming ventures, she will be starring in a limited-series of Showtime that revolves around the iconic comedian Joan Rivers. Her other projects include Knives Out 2 and the Apple series, The Shrink Next Door.
