Boman Irani’s debut web series Masoom has released on Disney+Hotstar. The show has managed to impress the viewers, who did not expect to see the content they did watch. In their own ways, these netizens expressed exactly how they felt about the web show – amazed.
See their tweets here:
“Unlike most suspense dramas, Masoom has a fresh take on the genre,” OTTplay writes about the show. This aspect appears to have connected well with the viewers, who, in their own terms, are ‘blown apart.’
Another user pointed out how the cinematography of the show is top-notch, to say the least. Of course, many pointed out how the performances are powerful and tend to give the viewers goosebumps.
Although nobody named anyone other than Boman in particular, it is highly likely that they are talking about the debutante actress Samara Tijori. She plays the role of Boman’s daughter in the series.
Directed by Mihir Desai, Masoom is adapted from the Irish series called Blood. The series was released in two seasons, the last one airing in May 2020. The TV show is still in the news and might be renewed for a new season too.
Meanwhile, Mihir is yet to confirm if Masoom, like Blood, will turn into a franchise. The Hindi show is based within a Punjabi family.
Masoom is the only ever adaptation of Blood so far. The show, which also aired in UK, saw a brief but successful run on TV. Producer Gurmeet Singh brought the official rights to Blood, after which Masoom came into existence.
