Right from the day the trailer of Ravi Teja's Mass Jathara was released, social media started slamming the film as routine and the same old action drama. The effect was so strong that the film started with the same talk and opened to dismal numbers at the box office on October 31, 2025.

Mass Jathara has completed two days of its run and has made only Rs 9.5 crore, as per the tracking portal Sacnilk. On day two, the action drama only made Rs 2.7 crore, which are dismal numbers considering a star like Ravi Teja. Also, the said numbers have come from the mass belts in the Telugu states.
Bhanu Bhogavarapu makes his directorial debut with this film. He was a popular writer and is known for his comedies like Samajavaragamana. But for his debut, he chose a routine action drama, which failed to click with the audience.
Sreeleela played the female lead in the film, and this is her second outing with Ravi Teja. But sadly, their pair did not create any hype ahead of or after the release. When it comes to the US, Mass Jathara is also struggling with no takers.
Made on a massive budget of Rs 60 crore, the makers will lose big time with the film. Naveen Chandra played the main villain in this film, which showcases Ravi Teja as a railway cop. All eyes are now on the OTT release of the film, as Mass Jathara will soon be out of theatres.
