Mass Jathara teaser: Ravi Teja delivers mass punch, but teaser misses the mark

Ravi Teja is doing back-to-back films despite delivering multiple flops in the last few years. Next in line is Mass Jathara, which is being directed by debutant Bhanu Bagavarapu. The action drama has been in the making for the last year and is all set for release on August 27, 2025. As the film draws near its release, the makers have revealed the trailer, which showcases Ravi Teja in yet another mass avatar.

The teaser shows Ravi Teja as a railway cop who pokes fun at others and gets involved in issues, though he is not connected to them. What happens when such a crazy cop lands in trouble with a dreaded gang is the basic story of the film. Such a theme has been showcased in many films earlier, and one wonders what Ravi Teja found in this project that made him give a debutant a chance to direct it.

The only solace in the teaser is the chemistry between Sreeleela and Ravi Teja. This is the second time they have joined hands after Dhamaka, and their pairing looks cool. The fights, thrills, and Ravi Teja's mass dialogues are routine and do not give away much.

Mass Jathara has been produced by Naga Vamsi and Trivikram Srinivas, and they have been stating that the film will showcase Ravi Teja in a completely new avatar. But that does not seem to be the case, going by the teaser. Bheems Ceciroleo has composed the music for this film, and his background score is peppy, elevating the fights to an extent. Senior actor Rajendra Prasad is also playing a key role in this film.

It has been quite some time since we have seen Ravi Teja score a hit. As his father passed away recently, Ravi Teja has not been seen in the media. Now that the teaser is out and promotions will begin soon, we need to see how well the star hero promotes the film.
