In a new promo shared by Sony LIV, actress Shilpa Shetty will be joining the cooking show alongside the trio of chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Kunal Kapur. The episode will be a special one to celebrate India’s festivals like Pongal and Makar Sankranti.
When will Shilpa Shetty join MasterChef 9?
MasterChef India has finally got its 12 top jodis from various cities and districts of India. From Punjab to Bilaspur and Telangana, several contestants have secured their place in the best 12 jodis of the cooking show. In a new promo shared on Sony LIV, the makers have revealed that actress and model Shilpa Shetty will be joining the popular culinary show on the special occasion of Pongal and Makar Sankranti.
Shilpa Shetty says, “Iss waqt pura bharat pasand aur tyoharo ke rango mein doob jata hai jese ki kahi Pongal aur kahi Sankranti aur issi khushi ko baatne mein aa rhi hu MasterChef mein (“At this time, whole India is immersed in the colors of food and festivals. In some places Pongal is being celebrated, while in others it is named as Sankranti. I am coming to MasterChef to share this joy).”
