MasterChef India Season 7: Aruna Vijay in a conflict with Gurkirat Singh and Kamaldeep Kaur over 'banana roulade'

MasterChef India Season 7 is featuring home cooks from around the country with unique talents in cooking. All the contestants have their own style of cooking which makes this reality show interesting to the audience. All the aspiring chefs give each other tough competition that also leads to conflicts between them.

Makers have dropped a teaser video that sees Aruna Vijay in a conflict with her team members Gurkirat Singh and Kamaldeep Kaur during a group challenge. They take their not-so-satisfied dish to the judges for tasting. When asked to talk about their dish, Aruna says that they wanted to make a roulade with a stuffing of tofu and lemon grass with banana stem broth. She further unveils that the name of the dish is banana flour balls with stem stew.

Ranveer Brar interrupts the home cook and asks her, "This is the name of THIS dish but what did you initially plan to make?" to which Aruna replies, "Raw banana roulade with banana flour stuffing and stem broth."

She further explains why she chose to make roulade in this challenge and said, "I did not make roulade ever but these two (Gurkirat and Kamaldeep) have made it earlier. So I thought, we should keep roulade as it's familiar to both of them and I was sure that they would make it."

Makers dropped the promo video with an informative caption that reads, "The Chefs give challenge to the home cooks in which they have to make dishes without communicating with each other. The home cooks must impress the judges with their charcuterie board then they must elevate their skills and create the perfect egg ravioli. Can they handle the pressure and come out on top? They need to carry forward the process where it is stopped. (Sic)."
