MasterChef Indian season 7: Homecooks choose Priya over Priyanka for captaincy

All the home cooks in MasterChef Indian season 7 have landed in Goa for their next pressure test. Makers have released a promo video, that sees the contestants picking their favourite captain in the show. Meanwhile, a famous personality from Greek is set to judge the latest challenge.

The promo video begins with the judges asking all the contestants to pick anyone out of Priyanka and Priya. Only three home cooks go towards Priyanka, while seven contestants take Priya's side. 

Behind the camera, Priyanka shares her thoughts on the contestants' behaviour and with a disappointed face says, "I looked back to see only three people behind me, while all the contestants behind Priya. I understand that I am a bad captain, but I do not perform that badly in the tasks that no one wants to come to my team."

Another home cook shares his thoughts behind the scene and says, "I think Priyanka's last experience as a captain in the MasterChef India kitchen was quite chaotic. We heard that her team was not very organised. And I think due to this a lot of contestants are scared and that is why they all want to be in Priya's team because they do not want to take any risks this time."

Makers dropped the latest promo video on Sony TV channel's official Instagram handle as well with a quirky caption that reads, "Is Home Cook Ko Dikhi Priya Ke Piche ""Poori Baraat"" MasterChef India 24th January 2023 #reelsonsony #reelsonsonyentertainmenttelevision #MasterChefIndia (sic)."

Meanwhile, in the upcoming episode, the home cooks will get a challenge to present a three-course mediterranean meal in two teams to the judges and experience working in a commercial kitchen.
