MasterChef Telugu: Tamannaah Bhatia to make her debut as a host in the popular cooking reality show

Tamannaah Bhatia is gearing up to debut as a host in the Telugu version of MasterChef India. The Baahubali actress is set to begin shooting for the popular cooking reality show next month.

Sharing her excitement and talking about her love for food, Tamannaah told Koimoi, “I’m very excited about this development. I’ve always been extremely passionate about cooking and food as a subject matter. Owing to my chaotic shooting schedule I’ve never been able to fully commit myself to the love for culinary creativity.”

“But yes I do enjoy cooking up a storm in the kitchen once in a while for my loved ones in my free time. I can’t wait to treat myself to all the exotic culinary delights on set. It’s going to be extremely exciting and gratifying,” the actress added.

MasterChef Telugu will air on Gemini TV, Sun TV will air the Tamil version of the show which is going to be hosted by Vijay Sethupathi. While Kiccha Sudeep will host the Kannada version of the show for Udaya TV, Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to represent the Malayalam version on Surya TV.

Meanwhile, the actress was recently seen in OTT shows 11th Hour and November Story. Talking about the thriller shows, she said, “A thriller, if done well, has the ability to let you binge-watch. Now that is essentially what everybody who makes a show wants you to do. So, when you choose a genre like a thriller, if it is done well, it has a high potential of reaching that goal of being a binge-watchable show,”

November Story can be watched on Disney+ Hotstar VIP, while 11th Hour is streaming on Aha.

Tamannaaah is busy with a bunch of upcoming projects including her Hindi film Bole Chudiyan opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui as well as her Telugu films Seetimaarr, Maestro among others.
