Matchfixing OTT release date: When and where to watch Viswant, Vasanthi Krishnan, Abhijeeth Poondla’s film

ETV Win, the OTT platform owned by the Eenadu group, is consistently coming up with new film releases, original shows and web films. The streamer released two of their web shows - Righto Lefto, U & I in addition to their direct-to-OTT film Asalu, produced by Ravi Babu recently. They also premiered films like Panchathantram, Dear Megha. They’re back in the news for another release.

Their next is a web-film titled Matchfixing, directed by comedy-specialist E Satti Babu. Viswant, Vasanthi Krishnan and Abhijeeth Poondla play the lead roles in the film bankrolled by Kovelamudi Satya Saibaba and Hemanth Kumar Vemuri under Meteor Entertainments. Shakalaka Shankar, Sivannarayana Naripeddi, Kedar Shankar play other key roles in the entertainer.

ETV Win confirmed its premiere date this week. Matchfixing will be out on the platform on May 5. The trailer of the film was unveiled yesterday as well. The story revolves around two youngsters who’re desperate for women in their lives. Abhijeeth and Viswant try every trick in the book to woo women while destiny has other ideas and they land in an awkward situation.

Ultimately, they’re sandwiched between the same woman and their parents resort to emotional blackmail for marriage. Will the men marry the partners of their choice? Watch out for the film to know more. Satti Babu has also drafted the screenplay. With cinematography by Praveen Anumolu, the dramedy has music by SS Rajesh. G Avinash is the editor and Kiran Kumar Manne is the art director.

Gangotri Viswanath has written the story while the dialogues are by Anuradha and Gautam Kashyap. V Mohan Rao is the executive producer. E Satti Babu is known for films like O Chinadana, Ottesi Cheptunna, Nenu, Evandoi Srivaru, Betting Bangarraju and Yamudiki Mogudu, to name a few. Abhijeeth Poondla was last seen in Sudheer Babu’s Hunt and Viswant is also part of Ram Charan’s Gamechanger.
