It revolves around the events that unfold in one night – between 7 pm and 7 am, with the central focus on an incident that triggers his character Arjun Mahakshay, aka Max, to retaliate with violence. It is to be noted that Max marks Kiccha Sudeep’s first major release in two-and-a-half years, since the release of Vikrant Rona. It opened to good reviews upon its release, with OTTplay review of the film praising it as, "Debutant director Vijay Kartikeyaa’s Max is a racy thriller that’s well- crafted and perfect for Kiccha Sudeep, who is front and centre of the film.
