Max: Kiccha Sudeep to release sneak peek amid rumours of a trailer leak

In the evening of December 6, social media was abuzz with what appeared to be visuals from Kiccha Sudeep’s upcoming film Max. A few split seconds of the actor from the interval block of the film were being shared with claims that the film’s trailer itself had been leaked and fans requesting netizens to report anyone who puts it up on social media.

As a result of this, there’s been confirmation from the team that a sneak peek of the film would be released shortly. Sources suggest it will be the same video that was leaked earlier today. On December 7 at 10.35 pm, a sneak peek of Max will be released on Sudeep’s Instagram handle, tweeted Karthik Gowda of KRG Studios.

The nearly 1 minute long video that has been leaked is quite action packed. Given that the film is only a little over 2 hours long, with a story that unfolds in one night, there will be limitations to the kind of visuals that the team can reveal prior to the theatrical outing.

With only 18 days to go for the film’s release, fans have been urging the team of Max to plan a sensible promotional strategy, including the trailer release, on-ground activities, etc. The trailer is expected within a week, with December 12, the most likely date. The team is yet to confirm this, though. So far, there’s been only one media briefing by the team, and, ideally, the pace of promotions should have picked up, is what fans feel.

During the recent press briefing, Sudeep had said that he was immensely impressed by the fact that director Vijay Kartikeyaa’s story did not have extra frills to pander to his star status. It was largely to the point with only the bare minimum that the narrative required. The only deletion, he said, was a romantic angle for his character, which, Sudeep felt was not necessary.
