Max OTT release: Netizens mind blown by Kichcha Sudeepa’s film, call it ‘far superior than Pushpa 2’

Max, the 2024 Kannada film starring actor Kichcha Sudeepa in the lead role, is now streaming. You can watch the film available on ZEE5. The action thriller film released in theatres for Christmas, and had a successful run for about two months before making its digital debut.

Actor Kichcha Sudeepa’s film Max has finally arrived on OTT. ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. You can watch Max with your OTTplay Premium subscription.

Max is getting positive reviews from netizens who watched the film after its streaming debut. One person also compared it with Pushpa 2 and called it "far superior", while many others appreciated the screenplay and technical aspects of the film. It seems like Max has indeed won over audience after its digital debut as well. The action thriller is available for streaming in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. All we know about Max

Max is directed by debutant Vijay Karthikeyaa and jointly produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under V Creations and Sudeepa under Kichcha Creations. Apart from Kichcha Sudeepa, the film also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle and Anirudh Bhat among others in pivotal roles. The music is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath, while cinematography and editing were handled by Shekar Chandra and SR Ganesh Baabu respectively.

Max is a story that happens in one day. It revolves around the events that unfold in one night – between 7 pm and 7 am, with the central focus on an incident that triggers his character Arjun Mahakshay, aka Max, to retaliate with violence. The film opened to favourable reviews from critics upon its theatrical release.
