Ajay Devgn has reportedly flown to Russia to prepare for his aviation thriller Mayday’s final leg of the shoot. Besides Ajay, the film will feature Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet in the lead roles as well. The shooting schedules that include them sharing screen spaces have already been shot in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
However, it seems the actor is looking for locations for the final shoot schedule in Russia with a lean crew. The final schedule of the shoot is expected to go on floors by mid-October. The Russia schedule was earlier being planned to be shot in Doha, but the plans changed at the last moment, considering the security and travel restrictions.
According to Mid-Day, Ajay is accompanied by a few of his crew members in Russia to fix the locations for the final shoot schedule of the movie. Ajay and the fellow members will scout for the location for the next 45 days and also prepare for the shoot at the same time, the reports claimed. The eight-day final shoot will be shot at one of the five airports in the country with Ajay, Rakul and Boman Irani.
The makers of the film have reportedly been very strict about the coronavirus restrictions and only those who have been fully vaccinated have travelled to Russia. A source told the daily, "After they finalise the locations, they will take about 45 days to prep for the schedule. Post that, Ajay, Rakul Preet, Boman Irani, writer Sandeep Kewlani and the core unit will fly down to Moscow in mid-October for the eight-day shoot. Some crucial airport scenes will be canned at one of the five airports in the city."
