In the last episode of Mayi Ri, there is a time leap of three years as both Annie and Fakhir are seen following their career aspirations and becoming successful despite their twisted fates. While Annie is seen giving a speech on her graduation day, Fakhir is seen supporting her by rooting for her incredible journey against time and distance constraints as he watches her speech online.

Annie’s speech highlights the grim issue of child marriage in Pakistan, why education plays a vital role in a girl’s life, and why it is a powerful weapon against society’s injustices and hypocrisy. It emphasises that child marriage kills innocence as it burdens children with responsibility before they are ready.
