Vijay Antony’s latest film Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan hit the big screens on Friday (August 2). The action drama, is written and directed by filmmaker Vijay Milton. After the theatrical run of the film, it will be available on Prime Video for streaming.

Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan stars actor-composer-editor Vijay Antony playing the lead role. The film released on August 2 and is currently running in theatres. After its theatrical run, Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan will be available for streaming on Prime Video. An OTT release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers. Apart from Vijay Antony, the film also stars actors Sathyaraj, Megha Akash, Daali Dhananjaya, Murali Sharma, Saranya Ponvannan, Pruthvi Ambaar, Thalaivasal Vijay and many others.
Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan is majorly set in Andaman Islands and is about a stranger who has to come to face with a local loan shark. The technical crew of Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan includes Vijay Antony and Achu Rajamani scoring the music together, while KL Praveen is the editor. Arusamy is the art director and stunts are coordinated by Supreme Sundar and Mahesh Mathew.
Vijay Milton makes shocking allegation
On the day of Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan release, Vijay Milton who directed the film released a video saying that a footage which comes in the beginning of the film, acting as a prelude, has been added without his knowledge.
“This film was made with the questions about who the hero is and his whereabouts. However, the film now has a footage in the introduction on who he is, and his backstory. How can one watch the film knowing everything? I don't know who had the right to add it to a film which has been censored already. I request all of them to watch the film without keeping the footage in mind. I did not add it,” Vijay Milton said.
