Mazhavil Manorama’s Nayika Nayakan stars to debut in Lal Jose’s untitled film

The stars of the popular reality show on Mazhavil Manorama, Nayika Nayakan will make their debut in a Lal Jose cinema. The pooja of the yet-to-be-titled movie was held in Kochi, Kerala, on Wednesday. It is also buzzed that the award-winning actor Joju George will also be starring in the movie.

The reality show stars who are expected to make a big-screen entry are Darshana S Nair, Shambhu Menon, Addis Akkara and Vincy Aloshious. According to Onmanorama’s report, the film is also expected to wrap up in a single schedule by mid-January, next year.

Mazhavil Manorama’s Nayika Nayakan was a show that was unique and appealing in many different ways. With accurate guidance from the celebrity mentors, a group of aspiring actors stole the show with their outstanding talents. 

The show had also promised the contestants a chance to get featured in Lal Jose’s movie if the director/judge is impressed by their skills. It was broadcast from 2018 to 2019 with a jury headed by Lal Jose, actor Kunchacko Boban and actress Samvrutha Sunil. 

Out of the 16 contestants, Shambu Menon and Dharshana S Nair were selected as winners, after contesting in many segments and tasks which prompted them to work hard on their acting skills. Apart from the show being a grand success, most of the contestants were able to explore their ways towards different movies, web series and short films. 

It is also to be noted that the show’s runner up Vincy Aloshious came a long way too and established her position in the Malayalam cinema with movies ranging from Vikruthi to the latest Nivin Pauly-starrer Kanakam Kamini Kalaham.

The upcoming movie featuring the finest actors from the reality show will be scripted by P G Prageesh, while Ajmal Sabu is on board as the cinematographer. The music will be handled by Vidyasagar. More details to the movie are yet to be out.
