Director Manso Re spent the majority of 2022 working on an intriguing project name 19.20.21. Although the filmmaker is yet to clearly disclose the essence of this cryptic title, it is said that he has based the story of the film on multiple real-life incidents concerning human rights violations. With an enterprising central cast that comprises several well-known theatre artists, 19.20.21 emerges as a film to watch out for.

And it would seem that the film is set to release soon in theatres. Earlier today, on January 17th, the team took to social media to announce the beginning of the promotional activity and that the first step in this pursuit would be to introduce all the main characters of the film.

"Namaskara. The constitution serves as the essence of our film, which is based on true incidents. Having spent a year in the making, we are now inching close towards the release date. And the first step in the pre-release promotions would be to introduce the film's characters from today," said Manso Re via his social media handle.

In the same vein, the director also unveiled the looks of all the main characters of 19.20.21. Popular classical singer M.D. Pallavi, who was last seen in the Girish Kasaravalli film Gulabi Talkies, returns to the big screen to play the crucial role of Ratnamma in Manso Re's film. Kannada author and theatre artist Mahadeva Hadapada will be part of the central cast as Ramanna. Senior actors Krishna Hebbale and Rajesh Nataranga, too, are a part of the principal cast and will be seen playing Police Officer Vivek and Mohammad Rafi respectively.

19.20.21 also includes actors Shrunga, Balaji Manohar, and Sampath Kumar. One could expect their characters to be introduced at the earliest.

Producer Devaraj R and Manso Re reunite after the very successful ACT 1978. Satya Hegde, too, joins the team as the cinematographer with Bindu Malani and Ronada Bakkesh scoring the music.
