Game of Thrones was a global phenomenon during its run, becoming a water cooler show for the ages. Among the show’s characters, Tyrion Lannister was one who had a fan following of his own. Today, a doppelgänger of Peter Dinklage from Kashmir is grabbing eyes. 

“I drink and I know things,” says Tariq Mir, In a video shared by Brut. While the man from Kashmir says one of the character’s most notable lines, we cannot help but notice the striking resemblance he shares with Peter Dinklage and Tyrion Lannister from the show. A shopkeeper in South Kashmir’s Anantnag, Mir is also an artiste who appears in local shows and plays. 

“Actually, Peter Dinklage is from the USA. I am from Kashmir, but he is my doppelgänger,” Mir says in the video. He also reveals that he got calls from Bollywood to act in movies. The local celebrity has shared screen with Salman Khan in Bharat. 

Mir says that he is extremely happy to have worked with Khan before stating that Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are his favorite actors. Mir reveals that it was a childhood dream to be an actor and that he will also be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s U Turn. 

Game of Thrones is in the news once again after having finished its eight season run a few years ago. House of the Dragon, a prequel show to Game of Thrones is getting ready for its much-anticipated release. 

Set two hundred years before the events of Game of Thrones, the show’s first season, which has 10 episodes, is set to be released in August this year.
