Mega 156: Renowned writer roped in for Chiranjeevi’s film

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's upcoming fantasy film, tentatively titled Mega 156, was officially launched on the eve of Dussehra. The star is currently on a break and is set to commence filming for his 156th project soon. It has now been revealed that director Vassishta's film will have dialogue written by renowned writer Sai Madhav Burra .

Mega 156 is Sai Madhav Burra and Chiranjeevi's third collaboration 

Writer Sai Madhav Burra has previously worked on Chiranjeevi's other films like Khaidi No 150 and Syeraa. Mega 156 will be their third collaboration.

The working title for this anticipated film is Vishwambara and a huge budget has been allocated for the extensive graphics work. The film is expected to feature five leading ladies who have already been signed for the project. Their names are yet to be revealed

Bankrolled by UV Creations, the filming of Mega 156 is scheduled to begin by the end of this year. Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani is composing the music for the film.

Meanwhile, the Telugu superstar has a couple of films in his kitty. Apart from Mega 157, which is also with director Vassishta, the actor will also be seen in Mega 158 with director Boyapati Srinu.

Chiranjeevi's last film, Bhola Shankar, was released in theatres in August. It clashed with Rajinikanth’s blockbuster hit Jailer in theatres, so the film did not do well. The film, directed by Meher Ramsesh, starred Chiranjeevi, Tamannah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles. Bhola Shankar was made on a budget of Rs 100 crore and the film managed to rake in only Rs 41 crore at the box office. Bhola Shankar is the remake of the Tamil film Vedalam, which starred Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon.
