On the occasion of Ugadi on Sunday, 30 March 2025, the makers of Chiranjeevi’s next made a grand announcement. A legend in Telugu cinema, Chiranjeevi who has worked in nearly every genre, from action-packed entertainers to emotional dramas, will be collaborating with director Anil Ravipudi, whose recent film Sankranthiki Vasthunam was a hit.

We had already reported that Telugu star actor Chiranjeevi is awaiting the release of the socio-fantasy Vishwambhara. In the latest, for the occasion of Ugadi, the actor announced a new film. Chiranjeevi is all set to join forces with the filmmaker Anil Ravipudi for an exciting new entertainer.
Anil Ravipudi's previous release, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, not only emerged as a massive hit but also shattered records, crossing an impressive Rs 300 crore gross. This highly anticipated collaboration is tentatively titled #Mega157. It will be produced by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens banner, in association with Sushmita Konidela's Gold Box Entertainments.

As per the makers, the project will have elements of humor, heart, and high-energy action. Anil has also written the script, with Chiranjeevi playing the character Shankar Varaprasad.
