Megha Akash and Rahul Vijay's romantic comedy nears completion

Megha Akash, who is yet to deliver a major hit in Telugu cinema, is pinning all her hopes on her next, a romantic comedy where she's pairing up alongside Rahul Vijay. The untitled film is all the more special for the actress given it's presented by her mother Bindu Akash. A Sushanth Reddy, the director of her earlier film, Dear Megha, has provided the story for the rom-com. Sushanth's protege Abhimanyu Baddi is making his directorial debut with the outing, whose shoot is nearing completion.

The romantic entertainer, significantly filmed in Goa, is being shot at a breathtaking pace and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to wrap up the shoot at the earliest. The team has completed two schedules already and with the completion of a major schedule in Goa, 90% of the principal shoot is complete. Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Abhay Bethiganti, Viva Harsha and Bigboss Siri too essay crucial roles in the same.

Opening up about the film, the producers A Sushanth Reddy and Abishek Kota mention that the project is a romantic entertainer set in a Goan backdrop. "This is going to be a full length entertainer and we're quite excited about it. Abhimanyu Baddi, unlike a first-time filmmaker, is finishing the shoot at a quick pace with perfect planning and execution. With the Goa schedule, the film's shoot is more or elss done and we're looking forward to releasing it at the earliest," they add.

Produced by A Sushanth Reddy and Abishek Kota under Kota Film Factory and Trippy Flix Studios, Hari Gowra is scoring the music for the same while Prawin Pudi is the editor. Manoj Reddy is cranking the camera for the entertainer whose crew also includes art director KV Ramana. The release date of the film will be announced shortly. Megha Akash has a huge lineup of releases in 2022 including Ravanasura, Gurthunda Seetakalam, Manu Charitra and Prema Desam.
