Meiyang Chang impresses the Bengali fans with Kichhu Chaini Ami during his Kolkata trip

Television host, actor, and singer Meiyang Chang impressed his fans with soulful Bengali songs from Srijit Mukherji’s Shah Jahan Regency. Meiyang – a popular contestant of Indian Idol 3 – was on a week-long trip in Kolkata. By his admission, he spent seven days beautifully in the City of Joy.

Meiyang took to his social media and posted the song, Kichhu Chaini Ami, a song of Shah Jahan Regency sung by Anirban Bhattacharya. He further elaborated how he ‘chilled and chatted, and spent a good time in Kolkata’. He also mentioned that he ‘gorged on Biryani, champ, phuchka, and other delicacies’. Along with his post, he also posted the song. In the video, he is seen wearing a red printed T-shirt and yellow shades. He tagged Srijit, actors Parambrata Chatterjee, Abir Chatterjee, actress Swastika Mukherjee, and composer Indraadip Dasgupta and others. His soulful rendition has impressed many of his fans. He twitted the post as well and Srijit shared his post. Importantly, this song is penned by Prosen and Dipangshu Acharya.

Meiyang Chang is known for is portrayals in Badmaash Company, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, Sultan, Bharat and other films. He took part in several reality shows in India. He contested in Indian Idol 3 and secured fifth position in the competition. He is also known as a popular TV show host. He anchored Indian Idol 4, Rising star, India’s Best Job, and others. He won Jhalak Dikhla Ja 4.
