Member Rameshan 9aam Ward trailer: Arjun Ashokan runs for ward member in this political comedy

Arjun Ashokan is fast expanding his career, picking movies that appeal to all types of audiences. Now, the makers of his political comedy, Member Rameshan 9aam Ward, have released the official trailer of the movie. 

The trailer reveals that the actor will be running in the election to be a ward member in the movie. The political party wants a candidate who the people can relate to, and so they decide to go with Rameshan, a regular bloke who likes to travel and play cricket with his friends. 

His life quickly transforms as he is thrown into the political game and has to try and gain the votes of the people. The two big parties both want to stamp their authority on ward nine, and thus a full-blown political campaign takes place. The trailer also hints at some drama in the movie, which will have a lot of comedy to keep the viewers engaged. 

Member Rameshan 9aam Ward is written and directed by Anto Jose Pereira and Aby Treesa Paul. The music for the movie has been composed by Kailas Menon, while Eldo Isaac and Deepu Joseph have handled its cinematography and editing, respectively. 

While Ashokaan takes the lead in the movie, it also features Mammukoya, Sabumon, Indrans, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Johny Antony in pivotal roles. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on February 25, 2022.

Ashokan was last seen as a cheerful love interest of the titular character in Gireesh AD’s Super Sharanya, with Anaswara Rajan in the lead role. He was also seen in successful movies such as Jan.E.Man, Madhuram, and Ajagajantharam last year.
