Meri Awas Suno release date: When and where to watch Jayasurya, Manju Warrier and Sshivada’s inspiring drama

Jayasurya has tried to take on challenging roles in the past few films including Vellam and Sunny, and these seemed to have bode well for the actor as it earned him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor last year. In his upcoming movie Meri Awas Suno, the actor will once again be pushing himself as a performer.

The movie, which also has Manju Warrier and Sshivada in the lead, marks his third collaboration with G Prajesh Sen after Vellam and Captain. The film, which is also written by Prajesh, has Jayasurya essaying the role of a radio jockey named RJ Shankar.

What is Meri Awas Suno about?

The movie revolves around Jayasurya’s character of an RJ who has to face a challenge that would make him lose all that he loves doing. How his support group led by Manju’s Dr Reshmi Padath and his wife essayed by Sshivada, instills new hope in him and makes him accept the new reality and make the best of it, forming the plot of the film.

Meri Awas Suno also has Sudheer Karamana, Johny Antony, Devika Sanjay, Nikki Galrani and Sithara Krishnakumar as part of the cast.

In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Jayasurya told us that RJ Shankar has his own philosophy. “He is confident about himself; if he gets a call, both the listeners and the talker would gain something after the conversation. To influence a person, sound is not important. Sound only supports his content and the light within him,” he said.

The movie has Manju playing a go-getter and a social worker. It’s also the first time that Jayasurya and Manju are sharing screen space.

When is Meri Awas Suno releasing?

The inspirational drama will hit theatres in Kerala on May 13. The film is expected to release on a streaming platform a month after its theatrical run.
