The Hindi TV industry is reeling under shock with the news of Dolly Sohi and her sister, Amandeep Sohi's, deaths that took place just a few hours apart. Leaving behind a highly distraught family and a gaping void in the entertainment industry, TV actors Nilu Kohli, Aman Yatan Verma, Shivani Gosain and Ashna Kishore took to their social media handles to pay heartfelt tributes to the sisters.

Ashna Kishore 'hates' Dolly for 'leaving us too early'

Meri Durga actress Ashna Kishore shared her grief about Dolly's passing away on Instagram. She uploaded pictures with Dolly with the caption, “I hate you for leaving us too early.” She added that Dolly would always be in her heart, even though she might have gone over to the other side; she would always love Dolly, no matter what. 

Nilu Kohli remembers Dolly as a 'strong woman'

Calling Dolly a "strong woman", her good friend and Bhabhi co-star Nilu Kohli took to Instagram and wrote, “Following her sister, Aman Sohi,@dolly_sohi, Dolla Singh as I fondly called her, bid adieu to the world. You were a strong woman Dolly!!.Fought cervical cancer like a Rockstar...” 

Nilu further mentioned that she had not seen someone look and feel as beautiful as Dolly and that losing two daughters on the same day to different health issues is unbelievable for the family. 

Nilu also penned a note for Dolly’s sister, Amandeep. She wrote, "Dear Aman, Never in my wildest dream I thought I would write Rest In Peace little one for you💔💔.It was your age to laugh and dance and live your life to the fullest,but God had other plans for you...” 

She wished Amandeep light on her onward journey and hoped that the utterly devastated and bereaved Sohi family would find the much-needed strength to deal with such an immeasurable loss. 

Aman Yatan Verma remembers two 'finest human beings'

Khulja Sim Sim host Aman Yatan Verma also expressed grief at the shocking death of the Sohi sister duo. “Rip .... @dolly_sohi and @amani.sohi....(in a span of 24 hours),” he wrote on his Instagram account. 

Recalling that they were two of the finest human beings he had ever met, who showed him love, care and belongingness, Aman was shocked and unable to come to terms with the news of their deaths. He wished strength for their family to go through such painful times as he pondered the fragility of life. 

Shivani Gosain is shattered with Dolly and Amandeep's passing

Lastly, Saraswatichandra actress and Dolly’s friend Shivani Gosain said, “It is so heart wrenching that you both left this world on the same day can't imagine what your mother and Dolly's daughter must be going through and how they will accept this unexpected cruel reality 😔😔😔” Shivani also prayed for their peaceful journey to the eternal world.

Actress Dolly Sohi, 48, who has starred in the TV series Jhanak, died on March 8. With shows like Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi and Khoob Ladi Mardaani...Jhansi Ki Rani to her credit, Dolly was a well-known TV personality. Issues between her and her Canadian spouse, Avneet Dhanowa, surfaced after the birth of their daughter, Amelie. According to reports, the actor was battling cervical cancer. Her sister, Amandeep Sohi, died of jaundice just the previous evening.
