'Merry 2024 by BTS' V' - Kim Taehyung leaves pictorial gift for ARMY who can't help but miss him even more

Just as ARMY was feeling the absence of BTS' V, Harper Bazaar Korea unveiled a new video featuring Kim Taehyung, radiating his usual beauty and charm. The caption to the video on YouTube and X (formerly known as Twitter) revealed that the singer had left a pictorial gift for his fans before enlisting in the South Korean military.

The YouTube video titled, "What's the last message that V of BTS left for ARMY through the BAZAAR February issue photoshoot?" offered a glimpse of Taehyung during the photoshoot, behind-the-scenes footage, and a heartfelt message that V personally recorded for ARMY while handling the camera himself. 

Titled 'A day in the life of V' in collaboration with CELINE, the content showcased Taehyung discussing the concept of the shoot being "Blue" and the unique experience of shooting at the beach in the middle of winter.

In a surprising revelation, V also expressed his love for having long hair and appreciated the opportunity to showcase it in this particular shoot.

He also acknowledged that by the time the video was released, he would have already enlisted in the military. As the magazine is set to be a February issue, he extended a "Merry 2024" wish to ARMY. 

Following the release of the video, ARMY took to various social media platforms, taking screenshots from the video and sharing them across platforms. Fans even discussed how Taehyung continued to provide them with heartfelt content despite being in the military and expressed how much they missed their beloved idol.

When will BTS' V be released from the military?

Regarding V's military service, having enlisted on December 11, 2023, he is anticipated to complete his service and return in June 2025.

Following the initial training phase, recent reports suggest that V has transitioned to the next stage of his military duty and is now attending the Army General Administration School. According to AllKPop, it has been reported that the star is set to undergo specialised training with the Counterterrorism Unit (SDT).
