Met Gala 2023: After Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra will attend the largest fashion event

With her stylish persona, Priyanka Chopra is prepared to conquer the Met Gala in 2023. A journalist at Variety, Marc Malkin, has revealed that the actor will attend the next iteration of Hollywood's largest fashion event.

He wrote in a tweet that Priyanka just told him she'd be at the Met Gala on Monday. She claims that while she likes themes, her outfit will be on theme but also have a special element.

The news has thrilled Priyanka Chopra's fans. "She's returning to the Met Gala, damn," a social media user wrote. "Happiest happiest news ever," another said, "I can't wait to see how she looks."

In 2017, Priyanka attended her first Met Gala. She made her red carpet debut wearing a dress with a thigh-high slit and a popped collar. She attended the 2019 Met Gala dressed in a Dior couture gown for the event's "Celebrating Camp: Notes on Fashion."

In memory of the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, the Met Gala's 2023 theme is "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty."

Along with Priyanka, Deepika frequented the Met Gala event. Her most recent appearance was in 2019, when she was dressed in a voluminous metallic pink gown that made her look like a princess or a Barbie doll.

Alia Bhatt is reportedly also going to represent India at the Met Gala in 2023. The diva will reportedly be walking the red carpet in an ensemble by Prabal Gurung.

New York City will host the Met Gala on May 1, 2023.

Currently, Priyanka has been globetrotting for the promotion of her soon-to-be-released series, Citadel. The actor visited India earlier this month and then headed to London for the premiere. Soon after that, she also headed to Rome, Italy, to continue with the promotions for the Prime Video series. Citadel will be released on April 28, 2023.
