Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino is one of the most-awaited films of 2025. Starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sensharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta, the film follows the love stories of four couples as they deal with the complexities of modern life. Meanwhile, earlier, at the launch of Metro...In Dino song Zamaana Lage, Pritam revealed that Aditya Roy Kapur has lent his voice to songs in the film. In new interview, Aditya opened up about the same.

Aditya Roy Kapur recently opened up about singing in a film for the first time and said it came naturally. He revealed that music director Pritam wanted him to try it. Although he has sung privately for himself and friends, this is his official singing debut in a film.
Aditya said, “The one thing that the fans might discover that they’ve never seen before is that I’m singing for the first time, I’ve always sung but more for myself and my friends. I’ve never sang officially in a film so this is going to be the first time that I’m singing in the movie and it happened quite organically actually."
He further added that because the format of the film is musical, Pritam wanted him to come in and give it a shot and it seemed like it’s stuck and it worked out so that’s a new thing for the fans to see the actor sing on the screen and that’s going to be fun as per Aditya.

While speaking to Filmfare, Aditya Roy Kapur revealed the reason why he said yes to Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino. He said that with Anurag Basu, everything and every day is a discovery, every day is a fun challenge. "It is unpredictable, you don’t know what new idea he is gonna throw your way and that’s the most fun part of the process," he said.
The film is a spiritual sequel to Anurag Basu's 2007 film Life... in a Metro. Gulshan Kumar & T-Series presents, in association with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd., Metro...In Dino. Directed by Anurag Basu, with music composed by Pritam, and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu.
