Metro... In Dino Box Office Collection Day 2: Anurag Basu's film inches closer to Rs. 10 crore with a promising growth on Saturday

Metro In Dino Box Office Collection Day 2: Ever since the film was released in theaters, the reviews from both fans and critics have been full of praise and love, which proves Anurag Basu has once again done his job. Not only his direction but also every actor's performances were praised. Although the film started slow at the box office, it witnessed a huge jump on the second day. 

Metro... In Dino Box Office Update

As per Sacnilk, Metro... In Dino started with Rs. 3.35 crore. However, it witnessed a huge jump on Saturday as the film collected Rs. 6 crore, leading to a total of Rs. 9.5 crore. If it continues to collect at this pace, Anurag Basu's film might exceed Rs. 15-17 crore in the next day. 

Metro... In Dino cast

Metro...in Dino features a large ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta, with Anurag Basu directing the film. The movie explores themes of love and relationships in a modern urban setting.

The film presents multiple storylines focusing on four couples going through the ups and downs of love and relationships in contemporary urban life. The stories are set in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore, with each city adding its unique flavour to the narrative. The film explores the different stages of love, from young couples finding their way to older couples finding companionship.

Metro... In Dino on OTT

After its theatrical run, Metro... In Dino will land on Netflix. Although the exact date is not yet known, it will likely be in late August or early September 2025, following the usual 45-60 day theatrical window. Meanwhile, the film is a spiritual sequel to Life in a... Metro.

Speaking to News18, Anurag revealed that Metro... In Dino was originally for the later actor Irrfan Khan and Konkona Sensharma. He said that when he was writing that film, Konkona and Irrfan were supposed to take forward the story from the earlier Metro.
