Metro... In Dino gets a release date: Here's when you can watch Anurag Basu's upcoming anthology on the big screen

Producer Bhushan Kumar and the talented filmmaker Anurag Basu finally reveal the release date of their eagerly anticipated production project, Metro… इन दिनों, which brings together uplifting tales of modern couples. This anthology will be released in theatres on December 8, 2023, and stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Metro… इन दिनों, a movie produced by T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, will soon be in theatres and tells the tales of two bittersweet love stories in a contemporary setting. This modern story, which looks at love from many different angles, colours, and moods, will have music composed by Pritam Chakraborty that fits the mood of the movie and makes the whole thing better.

Metro… इन दिनों is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd. The movie will come out on December 8, 2023. Anurag Basu will direct it, Pritam will do the music, and Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu will produce it.

Speaking about the anthology, a source had earlier said that Anurag had been considering making a sequel for a while, but he had an idea only after the first lockdown of the pandemic. He started writing the script and looking for casting at the same time. It will eventually connect the four separate parts of the movie. In Ludo, Anurag does a fantastic job of weaving together four distinct stories and bringing them all together at one time. The way of life in Metro 2 will be different, yet it will still have a similar flavour.

Life in a Metro's first instalment was released in 2007. Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, and Sharman Joshi were all part of the ensemble cast and played the key characters.
