Metro... In Dino had been winning hearts with its teaser and songs, and now, it is time that the story changes. It does with the trailer release. The makers have finally dropped the much-awaited clip, and it can get controversial!
Metro... In Dino is an out-and-out feminist film, where women are in full control in their relationships. Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sara Ali Khan and Neena Gupta are the true heroes, for they dare to speak up when they see their relationships turn toxic, and they dare to leave when it does. This might be seen as a move to promote feminism a la Sanya Malhotra's Mrs, and could end up being a conversation starter. The word man-child is something that resonates with every kind of relationship (four) explored in the trailer. Unfortunately, one misses seeing Saswata Chatterjee's role through the trailer, just yet.

Metro... In Dino had been making headlines for its first song, Zamaana Lage, ever since the teaser was out. From Konkona Sen Sharma dedicating the track to her co-star, late actor Irrfan Khan, to fans dearly missing KK, the track holds a special connection with everyone. Once the song was released, it left everyone spellbound.
Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino broadly tells four tales. One is about a couple who have been in a live-in relationship, and their love slowly started fading after getting married and on the verge of welcoming an unplanned child. This is about Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh's characters. The second is about a couple that fell in love after a one-night stand. This is portrayed by Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan. The third is about a man falling for a modern woman, but 'exploring options.' The fourth is a complicated love triangle. While there is a lover trying to move on but cannot (Saswata Chatterjee), there's a couple who believe in old-school romance. This is played by Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher. The movie, a sequel to Life In... A Metro, is scheduled for theatrical release on July 4.
