Meyebela: Despite controversy over Roopa Ganguly’s replacement, the show comes to an end

Meyebela has been at the center of discussion for the last few weeks. Roopa Ganguly suddenly left the show and made some serious allegations against it. Then Anushree Das replaced her as Bithi. The serial lost its original slot a few days back. 

The new mega Sandhyatara will replace Meyebela at the 7.30 pm slot from June 12. Then, many people got doubtful about Meyebela's future, since the channel did not announce its new slot. It is rumored that the serial will soon end. The producer Surinder Films took the decision. However, they and the channel keep mum on this issue. 

But the news made the fans unhappy. They think that Anushree Das deserves a bit more time. Someone wrote, “Star Jalsa always goes for the garbage. Hence serials like Guddi and Gatchora go on and Meyebela ends.” 

Reportedly, the channel offered the producers to run the serial in some other slot, but the producers did not agree to that. Meyebela started at the end of January. But it did not have much effect on the TRP. It was projected as the comeback serial of Roopa Ganguly but bore no fruit. Hence, it might happen that June 11 will be the last day of Meyebela.
